The End of the 2018 Reading Year is Nigh!

It is now half-way through August and my reading year (September to the following August) is just about over. I won’t be adding any more books to the 2018 long list for a “The Very Best!” Book Awards, so the list will remain unchanged and I will be announcing the winners in mid-September. • Best Non-Fiction
  • Best First Book (Fiction or Non-Fiction)

As for the upcoming year, I have a small stack that’s growing as the Fall 2018 releases come trickling in.… Continue reading “The End of the 2018 Reading Year is Nigh!”

The Miramichi Reader is Four Months Old!

Above are just some of the books I have reviewed in the past four months. As you can see, I love to read, and many authors and publishers have been kind enough to send me review copies and ARCs (advanced reading copies) for consideration. I thank them all for their support and for your (the East Coast reading community) support too!Too-Much-on-the-InsideFC-FINAL-220x346

To celebrate, I am giving away a new, unread copy of Too Much on the Inside by Danila Botha.… Continue reading “The Miramichi Reader is Four Months Old!”
