We primarily review books from publishers big and small. If you are a book publicist, please send us a press release kit to submit your book for consideration (mail to: nicholas [at] miramichireader [dot] ca). The press release will be sent to our team of contributors to see if there is any interest in reviewing that title. If so, the Editor-in-Chief will be in touch with where to send the book.
We do not review e-books or electronic manuscripts. With regards to “self-published” books, you may contact us requesting a review of your book, but as with any book submitted for consideration, we do not guarantee a review. However, we do have a feature open to all authors called “Why I Wrote This Book” in which you can tell the world about your book. If you are interested, please use the contact form below.
We do not review:
- political thrillers, erotica, paranormal, horror, mysticism, wizardry, most fantasy worlds, witches, vampires, zombies, etc.
- holiday-themed books (Christmas, etc.)
We do review children’s picture books, but they must be published by a traditional publisher and released within the past two years and comply with the above directives.
