Jane Tims is a writer, botanist and artist living in rural NB and author of five books of poetry. ‘a glimpse of water fall’ won Honorable Mention in the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick’s competition for the Alfred G. Bailey Prize. It is magical! Jane Spavold Tims is a botanist, writer and artist, living in rural New Brunswick. She has a B.Sc. in Biology (Dalhousie U.), a B.A. in history (UNB), and an M.Sc. in Biology (Dalhousie U.). She worked with the New Brunswick Department of Environment for 37 years as an environmental planner and plant ecologist. She has also taken writing courses in memoir, character, story-telling, marketing and editing.
